Financial Management Resources Before and After a Disaster

Throughout the years, Extension has provided education to meet the needs of families and communities.  Following Hurricane Harvey, the need for financial education is of upmost importance for the individuals and families that have been affected.   We would like to offer the following resources and trainings to assist you in your work with individuals and families in your county.  All trainings and resources are available to all agents.

Recovery After Disaster: The Family Financial Toolkit.  The toolkit is a joint project of University of Minnesota Extension and North Dakota State University Extension Service.  The toolkit materials (information, worksheets, checklists, and resources) assist disaster professionals, volunteers and survivors in assessing their situation to prevent or recover from financial loss.  Use the individual units or the entire toolkit to help the families you work with move along the road towards financial recovery.
